Shhh

The electric hum carries the air. It overflows with activity – atoms of oxygen and far too much carbon dioxide crowd each other.

It sighs and weazes and fills the gaps that not even atoms can slip into. The Hum overwhelms the senses. Growing, pushing, pulling for space.

And when the hum falters, a vacuum sucks away the air, leaving then nothing but flourescent sunshine and, still, too much carbon dioxide.
