Do I shirk my conditioning, or yet embrace it?
I want to be in the body, I need
To escape the mind. There can be no split,
Blood must stay within skin.
The shelf of doubt weighs above.
I want to feel free; in the body, on the earth.
Behind the veil of curtain, behind
The shadow of comfort, there I lay in wait
For the jolt of life. I find it in other places.
The body moves and I follow,
Who am I to deny footsteps their path?
It is the talking again, guiding astray
And casting that stone so inward to lodge in the throat pass.
There is no lens to perceive, none
For whom to feign theatrics and slaughter.
Just the body and what occupies.
